Program 2018

Greetings all!  The 2018 Hekate Symposium is very different from previous gatherings.  Please also note that there are no tickets issued for this event, simply turn up at the door where the name you booked under will be on the door.  Tickets for SATURDAY (DAY ONLY) is available on the door at £35, online bookings are now closed.

This year the event is broken into three separate sections:

The Goddess Hekate, a drawing based on a statue. Showing the Goddess Hekate (or Hecate) holding a dagger and key (note that keys during the Roman and Greek period looked very different from our modern keys!).


Saturday
Saturday daytime – Presentations & Stalls in the Glastonbury Assembly Rooms. Tickets available on the door £35.00 (cash only).


Saturday evening – Ritual in the Avalon Room, Glastonbury Experience (a few steps on from the Glastonbury Goddess Temple, above StarChild).  Sold Out.


Sunday
Sunday daytime – Workshops in the Avalon Room (see above). Sold Out.

There is still space available if you are interested in coming along the presentations on the Saturday in the Assembly Rooms. The Saturday evening ritual and Sunday daytime workshops are FULLY BOOKED.

There will be short comfort breaks through the day, during which attendees will be able to browse the fabulous work available on the stalls.  Hot drinks and snacks will be available from the Glastonbury Assembly Rooms Cafe.


SATURDAY EVENING RITUAL
Please note: This event is FULLY BOOKED.
Wear:
Comfortable clothing is advised, robes or ritual attire welcome.
Bring: 
Votive offerings for the shrine welcomed (for example: roses, natural rose products such as petals, rose water or oil), seasonal fruits, nuts, flowers, candles, organic local honey, something biodegradable you have made yourself).
Venue:
The Avalon Room, Isle of Avalon Foundation (Next to the Goddess Temple, above StarChild in the Courtyard, Directions)
Time: We will enter the Temple Space at 7:30pm. Sorry, Latecomers will not be admitted, so please arrive early if in doubt.  We anticipate finishing between 9:30pm – 10pm, but please note that this is not fixed so allow extra time.

2:00 pm:  Andrea Angelos – Introduction to Trance Oracles

Glastonbury High street has many excellent shops and cafes for visitors to explore.  In particular visitors may enjoy exploring the offerings at Courtyard Books, Labyrinth Bookshop, The Goddess & Green Man, StarChild, Shield Maiden (Viking Shop) and many others. There is also local landmarks, steeped in myth, magic and history including the Chalice Well & Garden, The White Spring, the Glastonbury Tor, The Avalon Library and the Glastonbury Abbey.
